When your mouth starts to flake and lips look a little dry, it’s time to improve your moisturizing routine. The lips are chapped for various reasons, from the weather to your habit of licking your lips too much. Whatever the cause is, leave aside the lip balm you bought at the store and choose a natural way to hydrate your mouth using coconut oil. The minerals in this sweet oil add moisture and let some soft, smooth and kissable lips.
– 1 teaspoon sea salt
– coconut oil
– toilet cloth
– a tablespoon of olive oil
– ¾ teaspoon honey
Mix a lip scrub to remove dry skin. Combine one teaspoon of sea salt with a teaspoon of coconut oil in a bowl. Apply the mixture on chapped lips and then rub gently with your hands, with small circular movements. Rinse the dry lips with a toilet cloth.
Replace lip balm with coconut oil daily. Apply a few drops of oil on the lips several times a day when you feel them dry.
Mix a tablespoon of coconut oil, a tablespoon of olive oil and ¾ teaspoon of honey to make a homemade lip balm. Stir the ingredients with a spoon and store them in a small container with a lid. Use this balm throughout the day to rehydrate your lips.
